The pylons underwent a couple of changes in design. Static calculations showed, that the first version would not have been stable enough (against tilting). Forces of only 300 kilograms could overturn the logs.
In the new design the H-shaped pylon will be clamped by two additional wooden logs on each side which are connected to the foundation too. This makes it now only more pressure-resistant but also guarantees tensile strength.
The lower end of each log will stick onto a metal plate which becomes cast into the concrete foundation. On places where cables run over the pylons, the upper ends will be covered by a metal plate too.
