First materials purchased
Steel, sand and concrete on its way to Tres Unidos

During the first days of his latest Peru Trip, our manager Eric Kuhn has been busy with organising the first building materials for the Tres Unidos Bridge.
In Lima he bought the four load bearing cables and clamps in a special "Cablecentro". In Tarapoto he and Damaso Martinez organised sand, concrete and the reinforcement steel on the local market. What they bought there was transported right away to Tres Unidos in a 5 tons truck.

Altogether we spent about 3.500 Euro for material and transport now. There is only one more major expense which is the wood. This however, we do not need at moment. First of all, the foundations, which they start to build now, have to be finished.
