Build a bridge

to bridge the gap

From May 19th to June 6th our manager Eric Kuhn will travel to Peru again to start with the first bridge building works.

 

One of the first things to do is buying the cables in Lima and organise the purchase and transport of reinforcement steel, sand and concrete in Tarapoto.

 

With Damaso Martinez he will then travel to Tres Unidos and introduce the bridge building concept to the villagers and even more intensive to the volunteer workers. Together they will lay out the excavation and prepare further construction works. After all Eric and the volunteers will have about four days to work together then the people of Tres Unidos must be able to carry on and finish the foundations on their own.

 

Damaso will keep us up to date with digital photographs, the camera equipment is funded from the pool of donations.
